Our Beginnings
Welcome to the heart of our mission at Say Yes To Sheep, where our founder and visionary, Marley, leads us with her boundless passion for animals, agriculture, and the environment. Marley's story is one of innovation and a deep-seated respect for nature, rooted in her heritage. Born to Polish immigrants, she was raised with a profound reverence for the earth and its inhabitants. This upbringing laid the foundation for a lifetime dedicated to nurturing life in all its forms, and an integral part of her journey towards sustainable living.
Marley's connection to the land grew alongside her, evolving into a love affair with farming that saw her raising chickens and managing a flock of nearly 70 birds. In 2021, a pivotal moment came that deeply connected her to her family's agricultural heritage. Embracing the responsibilities of her family's legacy, she became more involved in the care and continuation of their farming practices. This period in her life reignited her commitment to sustainable agriculture. That year she took ownership of a California ranch, setting the stage for the inception of Say Yes To Sheep.

Her journey toward sustainable innovation led her to the North Atlantic during a European tour. It was there she discovered a traditional sheep breed with wool not typically favored by the textile industry but with significant untapped potential. The realization that this valuable resource was being wasted, often burned by farmers, ignited Marley's resolve to shift perceptions. With a blend of determination and business insight, she set out to explore the sustainable opportunities this unique wool presented, aiming to benefit communities and the environment alike.
At Say Yes To Sheep, we're more than just a product; we're a testament to Marley's vision of a world where sustainability and agriculture go hand in hand, transforming undervalued resources into treasures for the planet and its people. Join us in our journey towards a more sustainable future, one sheep at a time.
